About

Robotics and physical AI claims, checked against deployment reality.

Most trade coverage picks one lane: deep technical detail with no sense of the bigger capital or strategic picture, or high-level "future of work" takes with nothing underneath them to check. Robot Reality Check is meant to do both, for plant managers, operations leaders and capital-project decision-makers. The people who greenlight capex, not robotics engineers.

  1. 01 Claim What the company says.
  2. 02 Demonstrated vs. marketing What has actually been shown.
  3. 03 Deployment reality What it takes to run it on a real site.
  4. 04 Verdict Buy, Hold or Pass.

The verdict is a capex-style call: would I put money behind this on my own projects? Blended calls like "Hold, leaning Buy" are allowed when the evidence is mixed.

Every claim we test goes on the Scorecard with a revisit date. Status (Online, Standby, Offline) grades whether the underlying category of solution holds up over time, separately from whether one vendor's figures were exactly right.

Everything here is drawn from public sources and general professional judgment. No employer, client or insider information is used. Vendor-reported figures are labeled as vendor-reported, and press-release distributions are named as such.
